Coming to Humberto's AZ for year every time we come to river. Always hits the spot. Very traditional mex food and fresh large portions.

Breakfast burrito got a 5 star. The servicing time was horrible. 20 minutes for a burrito to come out. I've been to busier restaurants in Los Angeles that would of pulled out a burrito like a hot potato.

The food is fresh and the portions are sizable. The salsa bar looks fresh, and it's well stocked. Best of all, they make hand made tortillas. However..... the person taking orders was rude and impatient. The food is good, nonetheless.

Stopped by chance. Smells were fantastic! Person taking the order was very friendly. Great food. When in Bullhead will definitely make it a point to come here again

Ok.... Carne Asada Burritos they make or break a place. I don't care about anything a Mexican place does or doesn't do if they have a great carne Asada burrito...... Humbertos has that!!!!! The price is only $5. The hot sauce and carrots and peppers were also very good. Not fancy, doesn't need to be. Great burritos you bet. If you like a great tasting deal...... This is it.

The main reason that I and my mother, who lives in Bullhead City, come here are for their great homemade corn tortillas. They are tasty and thick. We also buy their homemade corn tortilla chips. Of any mexican place that I've been to these chips are the best. They are made with the same corn tortillas they make. They sell the chips in a large plastic bag for $3 (~1 lb or more) The chips are crispy, dangerous, thick and are great for bean dips. So where dose the danger come in you ask? These triangular chips are not greasy. They are extremely thick ridged and could easily gouge someone's eyes out. If you want to make some great homemade enchiladas buy their tortillas. As for their food the only thing I've tried has been their machaca plate. Good but nowhere near as good as Agaves Mexican Grill: yelp.com/biz/agaves-mexi… in Bullhead City. Their corn tortillas and chips get a solid 5 stars but because I've only tried their macaca plate the place gets 3 stars. That may change when I try more of their food.

What appears to be an iffy place to eat was actually more down to earth. Basic environment of undressed tables and simple chairs with the tv tuned to the latest episode of a cooking show made it feel like my aunties house. I felt comfortable to roam the quaint room and exam the menu above the cashier without any pressure to place my order. Friendly manners when I questioned the spiciness of their shrimp dish and the authenticity of their sauces. Homemade sauces, tortillas and beans were all I needed to hear. The shrimp dinner was what they discribed....creamy beans with homemade corn tortillias and a homemade spicy red sauce on the shrimp. Very comparable to the "Camarones Diabla" , they just didn't call it that. The heat hit the outter edges of my tongue but did not burn so bad I couldn't continue eating. I would go there again.

This place is seriously HORRIBLE!! I ordered the taquitos plate along with a couple of other orders and they forgot my order. This is the second time they forgot my order. Never going back.

They have good home made tortillas and chips but that is all. Its like the soup kitchen on Seinfeld or the DMV of fast food. No matter who is behind the register, they never ever smile and act like you are bothering them. The food is slightly below Roberto's (California) standards and the hot carrots seem unwashed.

Definitely not a "destination spot." If you are hungry for some Mexican grub... it's going to do the job... We went based on a "rave" review from a friend... and by the time I left I was full... and liked the staff... food... a bit on the bland side. But heh to each their own.

Visited here after leaving Laughlin. It's a small place but there was a steady flow of traffic which is always a good sign to me. I ordered the carnitas plate (of course) and was pleasantly surprised. It was a very good portion and the taste was on point. The bf ordered rolled tacos which was also really good too. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would go back again.

Really crappy Mexican food or at least crappy tamales! Usually in a Mexican fast food joint like this I would have expected bigger portions at cheaper prices but I was disappointed in both these areas. I was highly disappointed in my tamales and I was hungry! The guy I was with ordered carne asada and he seemed to like it, he asked for more tortillas and they gave him some at no cost which was pretty cool. I still left hungry and my meal cost over seven dollars really disappointing but a lesson learned I won't be going back there.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
